Ned-Belg/ Belg-Ned Fort Ellewoutsdijk, Zeeland, 2006. 2 vlaggen van 2 x 3 meter; polyester doek. Hofman created a new flag, made out of the two existing flags of The Netherlands and Belgium. Every now and then, because of the wind, you can see the back of the flag mixing in with the front, showing a glimpse of what is on the reverse. The opposite side of the flags can be seen from the court of the fortress, or when one takes the effort to walk around the structure. With the sun behind the flag, yet another flag appears: one with nine squares.
